1. The service
LitReviews is a research‑intelligence workspace for literature reviews. It analyzes, structures, and verifies sources and claims you provide. It is a tool to support your work — you remain the author and decision‑maker. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a single-use link to access your account.
3. Acceptable use
Don't upload content you have no right to use, attempt to break or overload the service, reverse‑engineer it, or use it for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for the sources and text you add and for respecting the copyright and licenses of materials you upload.
4. AI outputs
AI features are source‑bound and advisory: they reason only over the material you provide plus approved metadata, and they do not generate submission‑ready prose. Outputs may contain errors and are provided without warranty — verify anything you rely on. You are responsible for academic integrity and for how you use the outputs.
5. Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly in Qatari Riyal (QAR) through our payment processor (SkipCash) as a recurring subscription until cancelled. A free trial may be offered. One‑time purchases (e.g. extra project packs) are charged once. You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals and your account returns to a read‑only state where your data is preserved.
6. No refunds
All sales are final. Except where a refund is required by applicable law, all payments — including monthly subscription charges (current and past periods) and one‑time purchases — are non‑refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not refund the current or any prior billing period, and unused time, features, or project slots are not refunded or credited. Because the service grants immediate access to AI‑powered features that incur cost on use, you waive any right to a refund for amounts already paid.
7. Your content & data
You retain ownership of the sources, claims, and notes you add. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your projects at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Your stored data is preserved during a read‑only/expired state and is not sold.
9. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding twelve months.
